The Nature of Management

Course Description
The word management means different things to different people. “The Nature of Management” concentrates on management as work –
that is, the specific activities managers carry out to get things done through and with other people.
This session presents one approach to Management which is called the “Professional Approach” and can be used as a basis and
background for developing one’s own pattern of management action.

The management functions to be taught are:
