Root Cause Analysis
Total Time in the Classroom is 6 Hours
Course Description
Finding the Root Cause is an integral part of the Problem Solving Process. When we follow the chain of cause-and-effect behind a problem to its end, we discover the root cause. Finding the root cause is the essence of solving a problem. Without the root cause, there can be no lasting solution.
The program introduces a wide range of approaches, tools and techniques to uncover causes to problems. The point of this program is not to learn and apply all of these tools and techniques, but rather to become familiar with the 'root cause analysis tool box' and then apply the appropriate technique or tool to address a specific problem.
