Course Description
The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) was signed into law in response to a growing national concern about balancing work and family responsibilities. This program delves into the law and the employer’s and associate’s responsibilities required by the law.
Method of Instruction
This is an interactive workshop which allows for open discussion and questioning. A pre and post FMLA Test will be given to allow participants to assess their knowledge of the law before and after delivery of FMLA materials. A DVD presentation is used to reinforce discussion materials. Class and Small Group activities are utilized to support the learning process.
