Course Description
Cultural shock is experienced anytime someone is introduced to a new environment or introduced to people considered to be ‘different’. This program deals with understanding cultural differences and helps one to overcome cultural and communication barriers. However, there are more similarities than differences…! All associates, no matter what their background, want to:
1. Do a good job
2. Improve their standard of living
3. Understand what is expected at the workplace
4. Continually learn
5. Be productive members of society, and
6. Provide for their family

Method of Instruction
The program involves case studies and DVD vignettes allowing leaders to assess their skills in dealing with a diverse team. In the final analysis, the same coin is looked at but different sides of it. This is an intense program designed :
- self-esteem, and
- productivity
- to provide Leaders the necessary skills to lead all groups of people, no matter what their background, and
- teach Leaders that by embracing diversity they can and will positively impact
- self-esteem, and
- productivity
