Conducting Effective Meetings

Course Description
This session covers fundamental steps necessary to insure that desired information is presented in an understandable manner to secure a routine outcome. This session is focused on the individual and each participant will be asked to evaluate the following:
- Voice tone, volume and pitch
- Body language
- Barriers to communication
- Visual aids usage
- Specific communication techniques to assist the participant in becoming a dynamic speaker
- Mastering the art of questioning
- How to organize a meeting
- How to maintain control of a meeting
- How to manage time constraints of a meeting
- How to handle a difficult meeting participant
Method of Instruction
These are stand-alone modules which vary in length. This session involves the exchange of ideas.
